CME Chair | Joshua Bess, M.D.

Dr. Bess is a highly regarded teacher and psychiatrist. His clinical interests include ECT and other brain stimulation therapies, thoughtful pharmacotherapy of treatment-resistant mood disorders and the treatment of catatonia. Dr. Bess has authored several papers and is co-author of the Manual of Inpatient Psychiatry, now in its second edition. He has held leadership positions, including serving as President of the Washington State Psychiatric Association from 2019-2020.
