Geriatric Psychiatry for the General Psychiatrist
Spring Conference & Annual Meeting Saturday, May 19, 2018 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM Hotel Monaco, Downtown Seattle 1101 Fourth Ave., Seattle, WA 98101
This training is jointly-provided by the American Psychiatric Association and Washington State Psychiatric Association.
Pre-registration is closed. Walk-ins are welcome.
Do you want to grow your knowledge base and skills on the subject of general geriatric psychiatry? This program will seek to educate general psychiatrists on common, geriatric psychiatry topics. It will specifically focus on education around the clinical approach to the patient with a cognitive disorder and psychopharmacology for geriatric aged patients.
This program will peripherally address access to care as geriatric patients often have very poor access to psychiatric services. By enhancing knowledge around the treatment of geriatric patients by general psychiatrists, we hope to provide further access to care and/or improve care that is already present in our state. Join us to enhance your competency and comfort to treat these patients!
