Job Description:

Cadence Child & Adolescent Therapy is looking for a Psychiatrist that is excited by the prospect of building out a psychiatry program and growing into the Medical Director role at our clinic. The candidate should have the clinical and interpersonal capabilities to treat medically and/or psychiatrically complex cases, and an interest in joining a collaborative team committed to a learning and sharing environment.

SCOPE

  • Role: Part Time, Open to Full Time based on candidate experience•Compensation: $250/hour ($300,000/year for full time candidate)
  • Bonus: Signing bonus up to $5K

ABOUT CADENCE:

  • Based in Kirkland, Cadence is a leading outpatient clinic providing evidence-based CBT, DBT and Family Based Treatment (FBT) for children, teens and parents. Cadence is 1 of 2 programs in Washington to earn the DBT-Linehan Board certification. Our Clinical Director, Dan Finnegan, trained directly under DBT developer, Dr. Marsha Linehan, for over a decade.

Job Duties:

  • Evaluate patients’ psychiatric needs, prescribe, and support in management of patient psychiatric medication while patients are enrolled in outpatient care
  • Complete clinical documentation in a timely, accurate, and professional manner and communicate with outside providers and patient family members regarding medical/medication information as needed

Experience/Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:

  • MD from an accredited medical school
  • Eligible for Board certification in Psychiatry or Board Certified
  • Licensed or license-eligible prescriber in State of Washington; current license must maintain good standing with the State Licensing Board
