What are we looking for in a Consult-Liaison Psychiatrist?

Great Personality and Team Player. Board Eligible/Board Certified in Psychiatry. Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry preferred. Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA. Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice. Our goal is to find a hospital-based Psychiatrist provider with a desire to work in a collaborative, collegial, open environment.  

Our Valley Medical Team:

Team based model approach to patient-centered care. Consult closely with our Internal Medicine Hospitalist Team, Valley Family Medicine Team, Emergency Medicine Team, and Case Management teams to develop comprehensive plans of care. Excellent opportunity to also participate in hospital committees. This position is not working at a Psychiatric ward/unit. Work-life balance.  Daytime hours only, no evening/night call. Great opportunity for someone interested in operation-quality efficiency.
