We are seeking a licensed psychiatrist for contracted employment to provide psychiatric services for outpatient evaluation and medication management via telemedicine. This position requires a board certified/eligible psychiatrist licensed in the state of Washington. Opportunities for flexible 4-hour day, night and weekend shifts are available Monday - Sunday. Job Duties:
Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality, innovative, tele-psychiatry to patients.
- Complete, sign and lock clinical case notes within 24 hours of session.
- Maintain your personalized database to record proof of licensure, license updates, expiration dates, personal information, etc.
- Keep your availability calendar up to date.
- Respond to emails in a timely fashion.
Experience/Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:
Requirements:
- MD with completion of accredited psychiatry residency. BE/BC
- A license to practice psychiatry in Washington. Willingness to obtain additional licenses as needed. **Licensure in multiple states is highly valued**
- DEA certification
- Experience with tele-psychiatry highly valued.
- Familiarity, comfort and confidence with technology - various applications, tech tools, google web-apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc. **Confidence in the use of technology is a must**
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus but is not required.
- This is a remote position. (Must reside in the U.S.)
- Experience in telehealth is not required.
